What’s the difference between the Portable Shower Original and the Portable Shower Pro?
Our Portable Shower Originals come in both 1.3G and 2.1G capacities and are made from High-quality HDPE plastic (BPA-free) – perfect for a rinse.
Our Portable Shower Pro has a 2.6G capacity and is FDA approved as food grade - which means it’s 100% safe to drink from too.
How can I warm the water?
It’s simple! Just fill your Beach Soul Shower with warm water (<122°F for safety reasons and to protect the unit itself).
The 4mm neoprene cover will then keep it warm for a few hours so you can enjoy a nice and toasty shower post-plunge.
How long does the water stay warm?
This varies depending on your surroundings, the temperature of the water you filled it with and the climate, so it’s difficult to predict.
With an average day temp of 66°F, a Beach Soul Shower will keep the water warm for a couple of hours.
Will it stay warm even if I’m somewhere really cold?
Yes, but you need to give it some TLC. By that we mean you should wrap an extra layer around your Portable Shower to keep it nice and snug. This will ensure the water stays warm - even if you live in an area that experiences low outdoor temps.
What size Portable Shower should I choose?
We’re happy to help you find the right size shower for your needs, but the best place to start is to ask yourself two things: how will I use it and for how many people?
For individuals a 1.3G shower should do the trick. For couples, surfers, campers or larger families you’ll find an 2.1G or 2.6G shower is perfect. For more info about sizes, check out our guide here.
What is the water pressure like?
For a manual system we think it's pretty good! Expect when pumped to the max and pressurised as much as possible to get approx 40 PSI.
Remember top up pumps are required as you make your way through the water and the pressure will drop until you top up with these additional pumps.
Do I need to continually pump for the shower to work?
Nope. You only need to pump it 7 to 9 times initially to build pressure (with a few top-up pumps when needed). In saying that, the number of top-up-pumps required will vary depending on the showerhead mode you’ve chosen. Learn more about the different showerhead modes here.
Can I shower hands-free?
Sure can! Just flick the switch to facilitate a continuous stream of water - no nozzle hold necessary.

How heavy are the Portable Showers when full?
Taking the weight of the Portable Showers themselves into account and with the understanding that 0.2G equals 2.2lb...
- a 1.3G shower will weigh 14.3lb
- a 2.1G shower will weigh just over 22.04lb
- a 2.6G shower will weight approx 28.1lb
Can I store the Portable Shower horizontally when full of water?
We recommend storing upright to avoid any unnecessary bumps or knocks to the hose connector or pressure release value, which may then lead to escape of water.
Do I need to clean the inside of my Portable Shower?
Our Portable Showers are designed so that they don’t require regular cleaning.
We do however recommend the occasional cleaning with anti-bacterial tablets such as Milton or the good old white vinegar and water combo. In fact, the latter is great for cleaning the inner parts of the hose and cap.
Simply fill the bladder with ¼ white vinegar and pump to run the solution through the showerhead - switching modes to ensure you rinse every showerhead type. Once finished, fill it with clean water (cold) and run through all the showerhead modes once again.
What can I do if the water from my shower has a bit of a plastic smell?
If you've already given your Portable Shower a good rinse the next step is to add a few drops of vanilla into the equation.
Add the drops to an empty tank then fill with about 0.2G of water. Give it a good swish around, empty the tank and then leave it open to air and dry out.
The Portable Shower I want is out of stock. Will you restock it soon?
First of all, sorry that you missed out on your shower. We try to restock our products as soon as they’re sold out. The best way to get your hands on a sold-out Portable Shower is to *pre-order it. We’ll then get it to you as soon as it's back in stock.

Can I cancel my order?
You can’t cancel an order once it’s been placed and started the fulfilment process. However, you can return the package once it’s been delivered. Please visit out Returns Policy page for more info.
Can I return my purchase?
Yes, to begin the return process, please submit your request for a return or exchange directly via our website.
Any items returned to us that don’t meet the requirements outlined in our Returns Policy will not be refunded. Keep in mind that you are responsible for any postage costs.

Packaging for a Return:
To ensure the item's condition is maintained and to facilitate the restocking process, it's important to use the original shipping box for returns.
Please refrain from returning the item in only the gift box it came in, as this does not provide sufficient protection during transit.
Remember, the responsibility for covering the cost of return shipping falls to you, the customer, and we're unable to provide additional shipping boxes for returns. Keeping the original shipping box is strongly advised for this reason.
Timeframe for a Return
We aim to process all returns or exchange requests within 10 business days of the physical product's arrival at our warehouse.

I ordered the wrong size Portable Shower and want to change it. How can I do this?
The easiest way to return your Portable Shower is this:
Step 1: Return your Shower unused and request a refund
Step 2: Purchase a new Shower in your desired size
Note that all items returned must be unused and in brand-new condition to be eligible for a refund. Shipping costs are also your responsibility.

My order has been marked delivered but I still haven't received it. What has happened?
If the tracking link indicates that the package has been delivered but you haven't received it, please double-check with your family members/neighbours/friends first.
If the order is still missing, please contact the postal carrier your item/s have been shipped with (locate your countries local postal carrier in the shipping policy.) If they can’t find your order, you can then contact us and we’ll work with the postal carrier to locate it.
Who do you ship with?
Orders are shipped with the best carrier for their destination, this may include but is not limited to, Australia Post, DHL, FedEx, UPS and USPS.
Your postal shipping provider will be outlined in your shipping confirmation email alongside your tracking number.
How much does shipping cost?
The shipping cost will also be calculated for you at checkout, this is worked out on your location and the weight/size of your item/s.
Taxes and Duties - Where possible taxes and duties are pre-paid on your order and collected at checkout for a smoother and quicker shipping experience. The total tax amount will be displayed during checkout.
However, in some instances, deliveries to countries outside of the United State will incur taxes and duties to be paid locally.

To most places! Simply type in your address at checkout and the shipping cost will be automatically calculated for you.
If you happen to find your address isn't recognized during the checkout process, we may only ship to you from our Australian warehouse to keep delivery costs down. Please visit www.beachsoul.com.au to place your order.
Please be aware that international orders may be subject to local customs and import fees upon delivery. These fees are to be paid by you to the courier and not by Beach Soul®. If you choose to refuse the customs fee, your parcel may be abandoned and we will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We endeavor to post your order the following business day after it’s been placed, and payment processed.
During peak holidays, it might take up to 2-3 business days for processing.
Deliveries within the continental United States

Deliveries internationally (including Canada)

WARRANTY FAQ
What does this warranty cover?
Our Portable Showers are covered under a 12 month Manufacturer's Warranty. If there’s a manufacturing defect with your Portable Shower, please submit a Warranty Ticket that is to include proof of purchase and photos/videos showing the issue. We'll then start a warranty claim as soon as possible.
